Configure turns and rounds
The rules panel shows your game as a sequence of steps: Setup, Start of Game, a repeating group of Each Turn steps, and End of Game. Setup and Start of Game run once. The Each Turn steps repeat for every player in order. You add, rename, and reorder the turn steps to match your design, so a turn might read Draw, Play, Score, or a single step if your game is simpler.
During play, the game walks players through these steps with an on-screen button. The active player advances through their turn steps, and ending the last step passes the turn to the next player. Mechanics you attached to each step fire as the step is entered, so the structure you define here is the actual engine of the game, not just documentation.
Rounds are optional and worth adding when your game has a larger cycle than a single turn, like a market that refreshes after everyone has acted or an era that ends after a set number of turns. Enabling rounds adds Start of Round and End of Round bookends where you can attach mechanics, while the turn steps stay shared across every round.
End of Game is where win conditions live. Runner supports score-based wins (first to a target, or most points when the game ends), race wins, elimination, and cooperative wins. Pick the one that matches your design and the game will detect the end state and declare a winner during play. If you are still deciding how your game should end, the design articles on win conditions and turn structure are a good place to start before you configure anything.
